My dad was a work aholic, both professionally and at home. He’d put in a full day’s work at the office, and when he got home, he’d put in at least an hour or two every night in his woodworking room. When he retired, he did even more – and I knew he had to start taking advantage of free online photo storage.
Why? Because retirement was not agreeing with dad at all. He’s the type of guy who needs to make money. Not that he was ever really hurting for money, and not that he’s greedy. My dad’s experience got me thinking. I learned woodworking from my dad, and I can make small things since I just have an apartment. What had always been a hobby in my dad’s workroom was now turning into a life changing event for us. I can’t quit my day job just yet, and maybe I don’t ever want to, as my dad and I have are having a lot of fun. Thanks to free online photo storage, dad is busier than ever, and he and I get to spend some real quality time together during his retirement years.
