My dad was a work aholic, both professionally and at home. He’d put in a full day’s work at the office, and when he got home, he’d put in at least an hour or two every night in his woodworking room. When he retired, he did even more – and I knew he had to start taking advantage of free online photo storage.

Why? Because retirement was not agreeing with dad at all. He’s the type of guy who needs to make money. Not that he was ever really hurting for money, and not that he’s greedy. But bringing in an income is simply part of his make up. With free online photo storage, I knew he could have fun with his hobby and make money.

Less than three months after he retired, his house was busting at the seams with coffee tables, end tables, rocking chairs, knick knacky collectibles – and mom was going nuts. So I came over with my digital camera and took pictures of everything. Then I showed him how to save it online at a free online photo storage website.

Then, I showed him how he could post his images to sites that let him sell his work. The more he used free online photo storage and the Internet, the more he loved it. He cleared out a bunch of items, and made some nice vacation money for he and mom. Not only did free online photo storage free up space in his house, it also gave them a trip to the Bahamas!

Then, he started building more stuff. Fortunately, since he knew how to use free online photo storage, he was able to sell that as well.

My dad’s experience got me thinking. I learned woodworking from my dad, and I can make small things since I just have an apartment. Me and dad decided to team up, and with our collective know how and free online photo storage, we are able to have a nice little side business selling our woodworking online.

What had always been a hobby in my dad’s workroom was now turning into a life changing event for us. I can’t quit my day job just yet, and maybe I don’t ever want to, as my dad and I have are having a lot of fun. He’s got the know how when it comes to woodworking, and I’ve got the know how when it comes to free online photo storage and Internet related stuff.

Mom is having fun with it too, as she’s pretty computer savvy. She will often take over the picture taking duties and upload photos to the free online photo storage website we use. She also writes many of the product descriptions, and fortunately she can do it right on the free online photo storage site we use.

Thanks to free online photo storage, dad is busier than ever, and he and I get to spend some real quality time together during his retirement years.
