Paddlewheel River Boat Excursions are for peddling the boat through scenic Fox River, Fox River Queen or St. Charles Belle. These rides are available from May to October.

Middle Fork State Fish and Wildlife Area is a spread of 2700 acres of wooden area preserving lots of wildlife. Camping can be done at nearby Kickapoo State Park.
Washington County Conservation Area has wildlife in abundance. The hikers find the trails surrounding a lake. While you are hiking you can watch the wildlife and enchanting trees.
The main aim of Cache River State Natural Area is to protect, preserve and enhance the endangered rare animals and plants. The area is also popular for scientific research and educational use by permit.
You'll never run out off fishable water at Banner Marsh State Fish and Wildlife Area. It also offers wildlife hunting opportunities.
Fishing and hunting is permitted seasonally at Mazonia State Fish and Wildlife Area.
Some areas are restricted to hunting at Sanganois Fish and Wildlife Area making the population of animals fluctuates. Fishing is done commercially here.
Fishing at Ten Miles Creek Fish and Wildlife Area is very popular and commercial. Hunting can also be done by securing a permit from the site office.
