In order to be able to make the right choice when considering buying a second hand Audi, you first have to learn as much about the model in general as you can. If you know the ins and outs of the car when it is new you can then choose the best for your needs when looking for a second hand model.

The Audi A4 Saloon is a very popular choice of car among the range. It comes in either petrol or diesel so you have to weigh up the pros and cons of both before choosing. The next choice you have to make is either electronic or manual transmission; again there are pros and cons to both. The features on the Saloon are broad and it is said to be one of the most advanced models due to the technology used. The model has built in detection which assists you when driving such as lane detection and radio sensors to watch your blind spot for you. If you want cruise control of the finest then this would be an excellent choice of car to go for.

If looking for something a little sportier when considering a second hand Audi and like to feel the wind in your hair, then consider the A4 Cabriolet. This is a very popular model and there are some excellent second hand models to be found. It is also a very stylish model that is packed to the hilt with safety features, design and performance features. From the chrome grille to the sleek look of the car that turns heads the Cabriolet is a delight to drive. It is also noted as being one of the safest cars on the road with the help of side impact protection working on an energy absorbing brace system that automatically kicks in. There are also hidden roll over bars which activate immediately at the first sign of them being needed. A twin airbag system also protects passengers and driver and is activated in two stages dependent on the speed on the impact. The braking system features ESP and matches the V6 engine perfectly, stopping you smoothly.

Another strong contender in the sporty range which should be considered when looking at buying a second hand Audi is the Audi TT Coupe. Again as you would expect from the Audi range the design and safety features are remarkable. As this model is primarily a “sports” model, it shows throughout the interior and exterior of the car. The interior of the car boasts ergonomically shaped sports seats that are pure comfort, complete with lateral support and which can be adjusted to your personal tastes. No sports model would be complete without a rear spoiler and the TT Coupe does not disappoint, however it does have a spoiler with class. The spoiler will automatically begin to extend once a speed of 75MPH has been reached. It will then retract once the speed drops down to 50MPH. You also have the option of being able to manually control this if you wish. The safety aspects of the car are just as impressive with the permanent four wheel drive ensuring power is distributed evenly between rear and the front wheels. This of course greatly improves the traction and stability of the car under all situations you encounter.
